Star Wars at Madame Tussauds is an all-encompassing experience that features
remarkably lifelike wax figures of the most beloved heroes and villains from Star
Wars films I through VI, created in conjunction with Disney and Lucasfilm.
Disney and Lucasfilm are teaming up to create a multi-million-pound expansion
that will allow fans to enter Yoda’s Dagobah swamp, face Stormtroopers, see Luke
Skywalker fight Darth Vader on the Death Star, feel the Force when they face
Darth Maul, and board the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca. The expansion
will be released in 2019. Madame Tussauds London’s £22 ticket charge includes a
two-floor exhibition.
The Hypothesis:
The location was changed with some help from the Partridge Events team. The
Cantina bar setting was recreated so that tourists could end their evening in true
Star Wars style after touring the attraction. Our goal was not just to reveal the
brand-new Star Wars attraction but also to give people a taste of the sparkle and
glamour that is Madame Tussauds.
Going Through the Motions:
When guests arrived, a black carpet was put out, and the John Williams theme
song played in the background. In ‘Film,’ guests were greeted with a glass of
chilled champagne and a selection of exquisite canapés before being transported
through 400 years of London’s history on the magnificent Spirit of London Ride.
On to the World Stage’s Grand Ballroom, where excellent bowl food awaited (and
no, there was no sign of a Stormtrooper on site!), where the glitz and glamour of
Madame Tussauds continued.
As guests entered the next section of the attraction, Marvel’s most famous
superheroes were summoned to lead them through the Marvel 4D experience. To
ensure the safety of guests, Storm Troopers swarmed the auditorium as the show
ended, leading them to the Trade Federation Bridge and the new attraction.
Guests were taken on a voyage through the Star Wars universe, stopping at 11
interactive sets to interact with 16 legendary characters, including Yoda’s swamp
and the Millennium Falcon with the fabled Chewbacca. A life-size Darth Vader
greeted guests as they entered the final Star Wars set, leading them to their
evening’s destination: the Cantina Bar! It was fun to watch the Cantina band, and
their scary alien companions engage and dance with customers while the music
was playing. Musicians from the Cantina Band entertained guests with their
captivating tunes in a dark and smokey ambiance.
Alien Experience at Madame Thousand:
The blockbuster Alien: Covenant is the inspiration for this multi-sensory
walkthrough experience called Alien: Escape. Generations of sci-fi fans have
grown up watching the movie series, and now, brave crew members can join the
crew of the Covenant ship.
A wax figure of Michael Fassbender, as Walter, the next generation Weyland-
Yutani synthetic from the Alien franchise, will be on display.
Cantina Bar Manchester:
An alien-themed cantina bar is being built for the “For the Love of The Force” fan
gathering, and it will include a live band and customers dressed as aliens. The blue
‘Bantha Milk’ beverage that Luke Skywalker drank will be available for guests to
try, created with Vodka and food coloring.
Cantina guests may also pose with a “dead Greedo in a booth,” which Han Solo
memorably shot in 1977’s Star Wars film. The Cantina could follow in the
footsteps of London’s Breaking Bad-themed pub ABQ, which has had over 42,000
ticket applications since July and is considering creating a permanent location.
An X-Wing aircraft and an animatronic Jabba the Hut are other convention
attractions. From the 4th to the 6th of December, the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in
Manchester will play host to For the Love of the Force.
National Film Museum Milton Keynes:
Everyone who enjoys movies and television will want to go to the new National
Film and Science-Fiction Museum. Art and artifacts that have never been seen

The Making of Harry Potter Wb Studios:
All of the Harry Potter films were filmed at the Warner Bros. Studio, Leavesden,
from 2001’s ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ to ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows – Part 2′, which opened in 2012. Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were
the first royals to begin the tour in 2013.
It was necessary to save many of the original film’s objects and sets because they
would be reused in future installments. They were painstakingly built by a team of
hundreds of artists, technicians, and designers to bring the magic of the Wizarding
world to life.
What Attracts you at Harry Potter Studios?
Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone:
Harry Potter’s Great Hall was one of the first sets erected for filming. Some of the
most memorable scenes in the film were filmed on this set in September of 2000.
All four houses of Hogwarts are represented in the Great Hall by multiple wall-
mounted burning torches on the walls. More than 400 people may be
accommodated on the magnificent and formidable scenery, which appears in seven
of the series’ eight installments.
In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
The Triwizard Tournament is brought to life with the help of a massive water tank
erected for underwater filming. The special effects crew made a 35-foot
flamethrower-equipped model and may be viewed as part of the tour. The
Hungarian Horntail dragon, largely computer-generated for the film, was also a
first.
The Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Dumbledore’s office is shown in the Making of Harry Potter’s Studio Tour in the
second edition of the Harry Potter film series. There is a vast leather-bound book
collection of phone directories in the workplace! To give actors on set something
to react to, art designers developed a realistic representation of the character
“Dobby,” who debuted for the first time in this film. On the trip, you can see this model.
